WYNNE, AR (KAIT) – A man stopped for a traffic violation ended up behind bars recently when a search of his car turned up several bags of pot and meth.

According to an email from Cross County Sheriff J.R. Smith, a deputy stopped Ramone Scott, of Wynne for not wearing his seat belt.

Upon learning that Scott was wanted on a warrant in another county, the deputy arrested Scott and checked him for weapons.

During the search, Smith said the deputy found 20 bags of marijuana and several bags of methamphetamine along with a large amount of cash.

Smith was taken to the Cross County Detention Center and charged with multiple drug felonies. His bond was set at $10,000.
