Authorities end investigation into dead calves in Tyler creek

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Authorities have closed the investigation into how three calves found dead in a Tyler creek got there.The calves were found on July 19 in Harris Creek, near 1-20.

According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office,  the calves still had auction tags on them. Sheriff’s office officials say they turned the investigation over to the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.The TSCRA was able to track down the seller of the calves, but lacked enough evidence to identify the final owner.
