CROSS COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Three people were arrested in the past week in unrelated cases.

A Wynne man was arrested during a traffic stop on Thursday.

The Cross County Sheriff's Office said Ramone Scott, 26, the officer saw Scott was not wearing a seatbelt.

Deputies also found that Scott had a warrant out from another county.

He was arrested and checked for weapons but they didn't find any on him.

However, deputies were able to find 20 bags of marijuana and several bags of meth.

In an unrelated incident, Alicia Carlisle, 32, reportedly stole checks from two Cross County residents and from one business by grabbing them from their mailbox.

Carlisle is charged with a felony for forgery and another for theft of property.

The Cross County Sheriff’s Office said they expect more charges to be filed, pending an investigation.

Her bond was set at $5,000.

In another unrelated incident, a woman was arrested on burglary charges.

According to the Cross County Sheriff's office, April Johnson, 33, was found pushing a car into a driveway along with several lawn items.

Johnson told officers the items were not hers but she did not know the name of the owner.

Deputies found the actual owner of the items and he told them they were stolen.

Deputies then arrested Johnson.

Her bond was set at $5,000.
