(CNN/RNN) - The second hurricane of the 2014 Atlantic season, Bertha, is headed north after passing through Puerto Rico over the weekend.

According to the National Hurricane Center’s Public Advisory, as of 11 a.m. EST the location of Bertha was 230 miles from Great Abaco Island.

It has maximum sustained winds of 80 mph and is moving north at 17 mph.

There are currently no watches or warnings in effect.

Bertha brought strong wind and rain to San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday.

The center of the storm is “poorly organized” and isn't expected to strengthen enough to hit continental U.S.

It could lead to rip currents and high waves up and down the east coast.

By the time it's over, Bertha could dump as much as eight inches of rain in some spots.
