Police looking for suspect in Poplar Bluff robbery

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) – Police in Poplar Bluff are looking for a robbery suspect.

It happened around 9:00 Sunday night in the Hastings parking lot. Police say a 17-year-old girl was in a car with Demetri Rodgers, Steven Moore, and Terrance Fields. Rodgers asked for her cell phone, and took it when she refused.

Moore then threatened her with a pistol and they demanded money. When the car pulled into the lot at Hastings, the girl ran away and asked someone to call the police.

Rodgers is charged with robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of a controlled substance.

Fields is charged with robbery, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Moore has not been caught yet.
