Springfield Schools levy voted down

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Springfield Township residents have voted down a levy for the school district. 

Springfield Local Schools was asking for a 7.9 mill levy to help the district with expenses and avoid additional cuts. 

The levy received 1,613 votes in support, and 3,519 against. 

The district has already made arrangements to have another levy issue on the November ballot.
