JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Three Jonesboro men are in jail on drug charges after being pulled over on Johnson Avenue.

A Jonesboro police officer pulled over a black Cadillac after he saw it make an abnormally wide turn, crossing the center line, on Caraway Road. The car then crossed the center line again, according to the police report.

Once pulled over, the driver gave the officer permission to search the vehicle. He found a loaded .22 magnum handgun inside the trunk in a box of Chester's chicken.

The officer also found a glass jar of marijuana, Xanax, and a digital scale.

According to JPD, all three men, Joseph Paul James, Timothy Harvey, and Timothy Lawrence Peals are in jail.

They are each facing felony charges for drug possession with intent to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and misdemeanor charges for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
