ASU alum Andy Ferguson tosses 2nd complete game of 2014

) - A costly error committed by the San Antonio Missions (59-60/23-26) allowed for a bases loaded opportunity for Micah Gibbs in the bottom of the ninth inning

The Naturals catcher shot a 2-0 pitch back up the middle to score Orlando Calixte

from third base to send the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (48-70/24-25) home a winner with a 4-3 final on Saturday night at Arvest Ballpark. The victory will set up a rubber-match on Sunday evening.

Calixte led off the ninth inning with a single off Missions' reliever RHP Leonel Campos (1-4, 4.66) followed by a Juan Graterol single which brought up Angel Franco. San Antonio second baseman Cory Spangenberg kicked a routine double-play ball off the bat of Franco which loaded the bases for Gibbs. The former 3rd round draft pick delivered for the Naturals fifth walk-off victory of the season.

The game started with excellent starting pitching as RHP Andy Ferguson (10-9, 3.10) retired the first 10 batters faced en route to tossing his second complete-game of the season and earning his 10th win of the year. Ferguson struck out six batters and allowed just six hits and three runs on a season-high 116 pitches.
