Boyfriend hides in underage girl's closet, police say

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - At about 1:30 a.m. Monday morning, a mother made a disturbing discovery in her daughter's bedroom.

A 13-year-old female met a 19-year-old male on Facebook about a year ago. 

On Monday morning, the victim's mother discovered him hiding in her daughter's bedroom closet, according to police. 

When questioned about who he was, she told her mother how they met and said he didn't have a place to stay so she had been allowing him to stay in her room since Friday. 

The daughter admitted that sometime over the weekend she had engaged in sexual activity with the man. 

He has not been charged at this time. 

Sergeant Vankampen and Investigator A. Denoon with the Huntsville Police Department were notified.
