Cocky takes part in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Just days away from taking the field and getting the fans in an uproar for the Gamecocks' season opener against Texas A&M, Cocky was found on the field at Williams-Brice Stadium for a good cause.

The popular mascot for the University of South Carolina, wearing nothing but his finest garnet feathers, took the ALS Ice Bucket challenge after receiving the challenge from the Virginia Tech Hokie and Reedy Rip 'It of the Greenville Drive.

The video hit YouTube late Monday afternoon showing Cocky getting doused with water from one of the team's coolers.

Following the birdbath, Cocky issued Ice Bucket Challenges to USC Director of Athletics Ray Tanner, head football coach Steve Spurrier, Mayor Steve Benjamin and the Texas A&M Yell Leaders.
