HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Work on a sewer is line is finally coming together after a construction company sued the Hub City.

"The city's role is to make sure it gets done," said Rutland, who said Shows, Dearman and Waits was hired to do project oversight.

The project is being carried out by Arcadis and Utah, two separate construction companies. This project is a continuation after the original company, Precision Construction, could not complete the project due to alleged failures by the city, which resulted in a pending lawsuit.
