ASU's indoor field is underway

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Days away from the kickoff of Red Wolf Football, ASU Football players soon won't have to worry about the weather when they practice.

Ground broke on the Student Activities Center in late February.

Director of Planning Design & Construction David Handwork said the project is coming right along despite the wet weather we recently experienced.

“We had a lot of wet weather this year. So, the project kind of had a slow start coming out of the ground. But, as the public can see, the steel is going up and it's starting to take form.”

When complete, the center will contain a full sized football field.

Handwork said they believe the building will be complete in March.
