Police working accident on Highway 18

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Authorities in Mississippi County are working a traffic accident on Highway 18 east of Blytheville, according to police.

Police told Region 8 News that a semi-truck flipped on its side on Highway 18 between Armorel and Blytheville and ambulances were called to the scene.

Traffic has been diverted and is moving smoothly, according to police.

The accident happened shortly before 3:30 Thursday afternoon.

The conditions of the victims are not known.
