JONESBORO (AStateRedWolves.com) – The “Blake Anderson Show,” a weekly television program featuring Arkansas State University's head football coach, will make its 2014 season debut Sunday, Aug. 31.
The weekly 30-minute show will feature 12 episodes during the regular season and will air Sunday evenings at 10:30 p.m. (CT) on Jonesboro's KAIT8 (ABC affiliate) and Little Rock's THV 11 (CBS affiliate) following each scheduled 2014 A-State football game.
The “Blake Anderson Show,” which will be hosted for the third consecutive year by Mickey Ryan, will provide Arkansas State fans with an in-depth view of the 2014 Red Wolves' football team. The show will feature game highlights and an interview with Coach Anderson along with weekly features on A-State football student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
“I know the fans will be excited to get a behind-the-scenes look at A-State football and getting to know Coach Anderson,” said Ryan, A-State Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. “He's a people person and the fans will love hearing his insight as we dig deep into the highlights of each game. I'm honored to have a chance to host the show.”
Arkansas State, the two-time defending GoDaddy Bowl champions, opens its 2014 season campaign Saturday, Aug. 30 against Montana State at Centennial Bank Stadium in Jonesboro. Kickoff for the contest with the Bobcats is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be aired lived on ESPN3.
