Labor Day weekend jet ski crash sends 6 to hospital

SENECA, SC (AP/FOX Carolina) -

Oconee County dispatch said two women were seriously injured in a jet ski collision on Lake Keowee on Sunday.

According to dispatch, the crash happened off of Cane Creek Landing Road in the Seneca area around 7 p.m.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources said two females were driving the jet skis when they collided.

Both victims were airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital, dispatch said. There's no word on their condition at this time.

SCDNR is investigating.

Each woman had two children behind her. McCullough says the children weren't as badly injured.
