Movie money returning in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro Police are investigating a case of fake money.

Police say a woman asked the cashier at a local gas station if the 100 dollar bill someone had given her was real.

The bill says for motion picture use only.

This investigation is currently ongoing.

We reported on a similar case in July where the suspects used counterfeit 100-dollar bills at restaurants, gas stations and barber shops

JPD recovered $1000 in those cases.
