Bono city patrolmen awarded Medal of Valor

BONO, AR (KAIT) -

Two Bono city patrolman went above and beyond their call of duty.

Almost two months ago Jason Fraser and Jordon Kennedy were on patrol when they were dispatched to a house fire.

When they arrived, they saw a man trapped inside.

The man was an amputee and unable to get out of the house.

The two men then broke out the window and pulled the man to safety.

We consider it heroic, but the two men call it just another day at work.

Jason Fraser said, “It was just a normal reaction. It really didn't hit till after the fact what had happened.

Jordon Kennedy said, “It is the first time I've been involved with anything like this. Just concerned about him, just wanted to get him out.

Tuesday afternoon, Fraser and Kennedy were both awarded The Medal of Valor for putting their lives on the line to save someone else.
