Many voters had a chance to vote on millage increases on Tuesday night.
Voters in the Buffalo Island Central school district have denied a 9-mill increase.
According to the unofficial results from the Craighead County Clerk's office, it failed by a vote of 725 to 434.
School leaders hoped voters would have approved the increase to merge their four campuses into one campus between Monette and Leachville.
Trumann and Harrisburg also had proposed millage increases.
According to the Poinsett County Clerk, Fonda Condra, Trumann's millage increase passed by a vote of 605 to 498.
Harrisburg's millage increase failed by a vote of 240 to 171.
The East Poinsett County millage passed 59 to 34.
