Drugs, guns and cash found in Sharp Co. bust, 2 arrested

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Two people have been arrested after police find guns, drugs and cash during the search of a Sharp County home.

According to Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts, officers executed a search warrant Wednesday at a home on Calamine Road.

Counts said officers found plastic bags containing suspected meth and marijuana. A plastic bag of assorted, unidentified pills, several items of drug paraphernalia, guns and a large amount of cash were also found.

Homeowner Barry Neal and Mindy Brister were arrested as a result of the search. Both are in the Sharp County Jail awaiting the filing of formal charges.
