2 local men killed in head-on crash Wednesday morning

MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) - Two Region 8 men were killed in a head-on collision early Wednesday morning in Greene County.

According to Arkansas State Police, the crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on State Highway 49, south of Marmaduke.

Andrew Paul Mross, 29, of Paragould was traveling south when his 2005 Hyundai crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 1999 Kia driven by Adam Gore Wheeler, 25, of Rector.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by coroner Dick Pace.
