Arkansas Science Festival begins Friday

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Friday, the first formal Arkansas Science Festival begins at Arkansas State University.

This festival has taken several years and a lot of hard work to make a reality.

A-State senior and psychology major Alyssa Skinner, said she and fellow classmates are looking forward to being a part of this amazing event.

"I thought it was really cool because I've never heard of this happening in Arkansas, because it hasn't yet. We are the first. And I thought that was really awesome and I wanted to be a part of it."

Events will kick off Friday with the ArcAttack at the Fowler Center and wrap up on October 11 with the Science Expo in the Student Union.
