JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Fire Department has announced a new safety program involving smoke detectors.
In a YouTube
posted on Monday, Fire Chief Kevin Miller outlines the program that coincides with Fire Prevention Month in October.
Miller says through a series of grants they were able to obtain a number of smoke detectors to be offered to the public. The chief says if you call the fire department and set up an appointment they will install the smoke detector for you, free of charge and with batteries included.
