DAV received a new ride

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A dedication ceremony took place at the Craighead County Courthouse Annex in Jonesboro Wednesday morning.

The Disabled American Veterans celebrated the arrival of something they were really needing: a new vehicle.

The new vehicle will replace their older model vehicle that is used to transport veterans to the VA in Memphis.

Billy Cribbs, Commander of the DAV Chapter 26, said, "We have to replace them, normally about every 3 years. The one that's coming off the Memphis run now has got 114,000 I think on it."

The new vehicle will transport veterans to Memphis twice a week.
