Jonesboro police search for aggravated robbery suspects

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police said they are looking for three suspects involved in an aggravated robbery in the southeast part of town on Friday.

According to an incident report, a man was walking on the 3100-block of Race Street when he was hit on the back of his head with an object.

The report also said the men started hitting the victim several times and one of them told him, “Give me your money or I will shoot you.”

According to the report, the victim told police that's when he took off his shoe and gave them $50.

Jonesboro police said the victim was found with several injuries including swelling on his face and scratches on his body.

The victim said he believes he saw the men before the attack standing around a small maroon 4 door car with low profile tires and chrome wheels that had a little bit of red in them.
