JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Students in the Nettleton School District learned to "drop and cover".
Faculty, students and staff participated in the Great ShakeOut. This national drill puts people to the test as to what to do in the event of an earthquake.
Crisis Coordinator Linda Graham said they want everyone prepared in the event of a disaster.
"The more the kids practice the less their likely to panic when the real thing happens. So, practice that's just the name of the game."
Thirty-two hundred students and around 400 faculty members participated in the drill.
