Police: Women propositioned by exposed driver

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro and Arkansas State University police are investigating two similar reports of indecent exposure that occurred within minutes of each other.

The first incident reportedly occurred at 7:30 Wednesday morning near the intersection of Cate and Church Streets.

The victim told Jonesboro police she was walking on the sidewalk when a white man in a black sports car drove up alongside her and asked how much she would charge for a sexual favor.

The woman said when she looked over at the man he was not wearing pants, the initial incident report stated.

The scared victim told police she quickly moved away and the man drove off.

Less than 30 minutes later a similar incident occurred near the intersection of Eldridge and Marion Berry Parkway, according to university police.

The victim told officer she was walking south on Marion Berry when a white man in a black sports car drove up alongside her and asked where she was going.

When she looked toward the car, the woman saw the man was wearing just a t-shirt with “all his man stuff sticking out,” the report stated.

The man then asked the woman if she would perform the same sexual favor as in the earlier incident. The woman declined and walked away while the man parked his car in the NW-1A parking lot.

The victim provided UPD with a license plate number which returned to a 2007 black Nissan Altima.

No arrest has been made.
