One Vehicle Accident in Jonesboro Claims Life of South Arkansas Man

JONESBORO, AR - A one-vehicle accident late last night in north Jonesboro claimed the life of a south Arkansas man.

Joshua Easley, 19, of Sheridan, died after losing control of his 1999 Toyota 4-Runner.  The accident occured at 11:07 p.m. at the intersection of Magnolia Road and Prescott Street. 

According to a police report, Easley's SUV was westbound on Magnolia, when it struck a guard rail and crossed the road.  The vehicle then left the roadway and went through a field, before it then crossed Prescott, went through a yard and then struck a shop building before coming to rest.  Easley was pronounced dead at the scene by Craighead County Coroner Toby Emerson.
