JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - High school students from three states traveled to Arkansas State University to help develop their leadership skills on Tuesday.
About 300 students were a part of a variety of sessions dealing with topics a young adult faces.
Rebecca Neumann with the Student Activities Board at A-State said conference participation is something all schools should look into.
"They can learn all about how to benefit their high school programs, but benefit their self in their leadership as they go to college," Neumann said. "It's a very low cost program to them and we cover so much that they will need to know to help the transition to college."
The students that attended the sessions were from Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.
