Woman arrested in Jonesboro for DWI

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - According to the Jonesboro Police Department, officers were called out to East Johnson Halloween night after a white car was sitting sideways in the roadway and a passenger car was facing north on State Street.

Police said they found that a woman with slurred speech and bloodshot and watery eyes was one of the driver's involved in the accident.

According to the incident report, Officers found Trena Robinson had been smoking marijuana before the accident.

Police said the people inside the other car were taken to the hospital with pains in their neck, back, and leg.

One of the people in the car was taken to LeBonheur's hospital in Memphis with a broken jaw, police said.

According to JPD, Robinson was taken to the Craighead County Jail where she was charged for DWI drugs, refusal to submit to DWI testing, and failure to yield.
