JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Monday was the last day before election and candidates were hot on the campaign trail.
Senator Mark Pryor made a stop in Jonesboro to make one final push to voters. He said many issues in Washington, D.C. aren't being addressed by the House and Senate because of party lines, and he believes things need to get back on track.
"Things have gotten so partisan and so bitterly divided, the parties really have taken over, and that's not good for the country," Pryor said. "We all need to tell the parties that we appreciate them but they are not problem solvers. We've got to be problem solvers and get things done."
Pryor also said he's proud of the early voter turnout. Around 35% more people have voted early compared to 2010.
