HOXIE, AR (KAIT) - A Corning man faces multiple drug charges after Lawrence County officials say they found him with a quarter-pound of meth.
On Monday, Nov. 10, officers with the Third Judicial District Drug Task Force, Hoxie Police Department, and the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office arrested Christopher Garrett in Hoxie.
While searching the 41-year-old suspect, officers found 4 ounces of methamphetamine (ICE) with an estimated street value of $10,000, according to a news release from Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce's office.
Officers arrested Garrett and took him to the Lawrence County Detention Center where is expected to be charged with possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is scheduled to appear in Lawrence County District Court on Thursday for a bond hearing.
