JACKSON COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested a man on gun charges after an undercover investigation.
According to Corporal Justin Collom, Danny Mitchell was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Collom conducted an online investigation when he found a convict was selling guns on a Facebook group account, according to a news release.
Officers met Mitchell at a designated location in Jackson County to buy the gun, Collom said.
Lieutenant Ricky Morales and an undercover investigator with the Third Judicial Drug Task Force bought a Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun from Mitchell.
At the time of his arrest, Mitchell was out on bond for possession of firearms by a certain person. He was arrested again and charged with the same thing. His new bond was set at $250,000.
