Woman reports male flasher in mall parking lot

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A shopping trip to the mall left one Jonesboro woman with more than she bargained for.

A 68-year-old woman reported to Jonesboro police on Monday that she observed a man “pleasuring himself” in the parking lot at The Mall at Turtle Creek, 3000 E. Highland.

The woman stated she arrived at the mall around 1:30 p.m. Sunday and parked near the north entrance to Dillard's.

It was at that time she noticed a gray passenger car, possibly a Nissan Versa, with a handicapped placard driving around the parking lot, according to the initial incident report.

The woman stated the driver would back into a parking space, wait a few minutes, then move to another space.

The woman went into the mall, returning approximately 45 minutes later to find the vehicle parked next to hers.

As the victim was getting into her vehicle, she said the suspect opened his car door and put his leg on the ground.

It was at that time she noticed the suspect was not wearing any pants and was “pleasuring himself.”

She said the suspect was a black male, “30 or so” years of age, with a thin moustache and goatee. He was wearing a white sleeveless V-neck shirt.
