Randy Oxford, Brookland Middle School principal, reported someone broke into the school and stole a computer valued at $800 from the science lab class. Surveillance video showed a male and female arrive at the school in a dark-colored SUV at 3:53 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20. Video showed the suspects checking doors inside the middle school hall then going into the science lab classroom. At 4:30 a.m. the vehicle left the school.

Theft of services

Craighead Electric reported a named suspect, whose power had been turned off, used a piece of metal and a bamboo pole to switch the electricity back on at the transformer on County Road 780. A deputy attempted to contact the suspect at his home, but was told the man was at work.

Theft

Craighead Electric reported someone stole approximately 1,200 feet of copper, valued at $2,500, from service poles on Country Road 762 sometime between Nov. 18 and 20.

Drug charges
