No good clues in search for Arkansas toddler

EDITOR'S NOTE: Please call the Searcy Police Department at (501) 268-3531 if you have any information about Malik Drummond.

SEARCY, Ark. (AP) - The search for a missing Searcy boy is in its third day with no valid clues about where the child may be.

Malik Drummond has been missing since his father and stepmother reported him missing Sunday evening. Dozens of volunteers have searched his neighborhood, and police said footprints reported as clues turned out to be too big for a 2-year-old boy.

A pair of search dogs were being used in Tuesday's search, after a helicopter was used Monday. Police Cpl. Steve Hernandez said that, as part of the investigation, officers have used lie-detector tests.

Hernandez said foul play has not been ruled out but that officers don't have any reason to believe that foul play has occurred.

The search is concentrated in a half-mile area around the boy's home.
