IZARD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Two women in unrelated cases have been charged with drug-related crimes in Izard County.
On Nov. 29, Shelby Lynn Johnson of Strawberry was arrested in Horseshoe Bend by Izard County sheriff's deputies on drug charges following a traffic stop.
Sheriff Tate Lawrence states Johnson's drug charges include possession of meth, oxycodone, hydrocodone and alprazolam along with possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia.
Johnson posted a $50,000 bond and was given a court date of Dec. 15.
In a separate case, a Melbourne woman was arrested on Tuesday and charged after selling drugs to undercover officers, according to Lawrence.
Marcia Lynne Lunsford is accused of selling the drugs from the 400-block of Larkin Road on two occasions.
Lawrence states Lunsford sold 20 hydrocodone pills to an undercover officer and then on another occasion, sold an undercover officer marijuana.
Lunsford was charged with delivery of controlled substances. She posted a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to be in court on Dec. 15.
