RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A call about an assault with a weapon resulted in two separate arrests in Randolph County on Wednesday night.

They both involved alcohol.

According to Sheriff Gary Tribble, officers were dispatched to Highway 67 about that possible assault. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle on the side of the road.

Sheriff Tribble said Bobby Crosson, 33, was drunk behind the wheel. He was arrested.

Less than half a mile down the road deputies made another arrest. This one in connection with the original call about the assault.

Tribble said Thomas Keck and an unidentified man were found fighting in a ditch. Keck was arrested on numerous charges, including terroristic threatening and public intoxication.

His vehicle was also found stuck in the mud in a nearby field.
