Harrisburg Teen Killed in Morning Wreck

HARRISBURG, AR - A Harrisburg teenager was killed this morning in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of state highways 14 & 163, one-half mile east of Harrisburg.

According to an Arkansas State Police accident report, the accident occured at 7:40 a.m. when a northbound 1996 Ford Escort driven by 16-year-old Bobbi Renfro on 163 came to a stop at the intersection, then pulled into the path of a 1995 Ford pick-up driven by 28-year-old Fonda Stone.  The pickup struck the Escort in the driver's side door, and Bobbi Renfro was pronounced dead at the scene by Poinsett County Coroner Butch Davis. 

Stone and a passenger in her vehicle, 16-year-old Michelle Evett, were both injured, but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
