JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a Jonesboro man Wednesday afternoon after he told officers a group of men stole his car.
According to an incident report, Joshua Bacon, 25, called police to Flint and Strawn to tell them he was robbed at the Jonesboro Library by the group.
In the report, police said Bacon also told them the men got away with his car.
Police noticed Bacon was intoxicated and they saw he had several injuries including, bloody knuckles and a bloody nose.
Police found the car at the library with damage to the body, windows and two flat tires.
The officers on scene were told there was debris on Union Avenue.
Throughout the report, officers said Bacon kept changing his story about his stolen car.
That is when officers said they came to the conclusion that Bacon was driving the car and crashed.
