WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

The Walnut Ridge Fire Department fought a deadly house fire on Tuesday night.

Walnut Ridge Police Detective Ryan Price said crews were called out to the 900-block of Northeast 2nd Street for a fire.

When emergency responders arrived on scene, a neighbor told them someone was possibly still in the house.

Det. Price said fire crews were not able to rescue the man until after the fire was put out.

Police said Timothy Harris' body was sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Harris was 52 years old.

Det. Price said there is no foul play suspected in Harris' death.

An Arkansas State Police Fire Marshall and Arkansas State Police Investigator are looking into the cause of this fire.
