Woman arrested for shoplifting, previously questioned on separate case

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A woman was arrested for shoplifting moments after she was questioned by Jonesboro police on breaking and entering charges.

According to an incident report filed at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, a woman was being questioned for breaking and entering into a car on Ridgeway Circle.

Investigators let Breanna Nichole Siller, 18, go after they saw they did not enough evidence to charge her.

According to a report filed less than five hours later, Siller asked a friend to pick her up from the station and take her to the Walmart on Highland, “so she could pick up some things”.

Police said she did pick up some things, but did not pay for it.

When she walked back to the car, her friend noticed what she did and told Walmart employees.

The officers on scene found this was not Siller's first run in with the police. She was arrested in 2013 for allegedly shoplifting at Dillards in Jonesboro and had also been arrested for allegedly shoplifting at Walmart in Pocahontas.

She was taken to the Craighead County Jail on a $975 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
