WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - The Williams Baptist College men's basketball team got a big win at home on Tuesday night as the Eagles topped the 10th ranked team in NAIA in Freed-Hardeman by the final score of 68-67.
Carter Clerveaux led WBC in scoring with 18 points in his 32 plus minutes on the floor for the Eagles. WBC struggled to contain Freed-Hardeman stand-out Ben Meis, who dropped 24 points to lead the game in scoring. But Williams was able to pull ahead and with the help pf 5 players who were in double figures by the end of the night.
The Eagles improve to 7-5 overall on the year with a 6-2 conference mark. Freed-Hardeman falls to 12-2 overall and picked up there only conference loss of the year so far.
