The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library starts 'Meet the Mouse'

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

 

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library is offering classes to increase the public's know-how of the tech world.

"Meet the Mouse" computer class took place Wednesday morning.

The library is now offering a variety of basic and advanced classes on different forms of technology to the public.

“We have a training lab in the back part of the library. It has eight computers,” said Valerie Carroll with the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library. “We offer several different classes a month. We usually offer the same basic classes and then sometimes we schedule special classes based on peoples request or things that are maybe new technologies.”

"Introduction to Computers" is available Thursday morning at 10 a.m. and "Introduction to Tablets and Smart Phones" will take place on Jan. 12.
