Power outages reported during recent cold weather

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Power outages have been reported in some parts of northeast Arkansas during the latest cold spell.

According to Paragould Light Water and Cable, some areas in western Paragould are seeing outages. An official with PLWC said linemen are working to restore power at this time.

Craighead Electric Cooperative is reporting some outages north of Paragould in the area of Marmaduke, according to the company's outage map.

Entergy Arkansas, Inc. is also reporting outages in Jackson and Independence Counties along with some surrounding areas. Take a look at their outage map for more details.

And minimal outages are being reported by the North Arkansas Electric Cooperative on their outage viewer.

Of course, if you have an outage, call your local energy provider for assistance.
