Thousands in Crittenden and Cross Counties Endure Cold Night with No Heat

MARION, AR - Nearly 2,000 people in Crittenden County endured last night without heat.

The problem started around 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon with a ruptured natural gas pipeline valve.  Reliant Energy - Arkla employees worked through the night to correct the situation, but it is expected to be at least noon today before all customers get gas restored.

The areas most affected by the outage include Crawfordsville, Earle, Parkin, and Marion.
