Question 3/11/2002: I donated a kidney to my father 2 years ago. Are there any long-term complications that I should be aware of? The only thing I was told was that I shouldn't have any medications that contained aspirin.
Answer: There are no long-term complications as long as your remaining kidney functions normally. Aspirin is not contraindicated just because you have one kidney. NEA Clinic (870) 935-4150 (for appointment)
