This week, the Arkansas State Legislature convenes in Little Rock. They have a lot of legislation to work through. And it's important business. Health insurance is the biggest.
We depend on our state representatives and senators to operate our state in a responsible way. After all, that's why we elected them. And there's a lot of new faces in Little Rock thanks to term limits and successful challengers. but they have a sharp learning curve.
I encourage each of us to stay focused on what our legislators are doing. They need our guidance. Thank them when they deserve it, and make sure they know when there's something you don't support. It's part of being a responsible American citizen.
Let's have a great state legislative session. Make sure that our state lawmakers know that we are watching them and holding them accountable. It will make this A Better Region 8.
