State representatives took the oath of office today in Little Rock including new Governor Asa Hutchinson. Allison Munn reports live from the State Capitol about ceremonies on Region 8 News at 5 and 6.

Facebook users will soon see more than their friends posts on their news feeds. The social media site is working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited children to begin posting Amber Alerts on your timeline. Symphonie Privett explains how it works and if it will help local authorities on Region 8 News at 5 and 6.

The Craighead County Emergency Management is receiving new equipment valued at $110,000. Seth Stephenson shows what the equipment is and how it will be an asset on Region 8 News at 6 and 10.
