MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) - A man wanted on murder charges in the state of Mississippi was arrested early Thursday morning in Region 8.
At approximately 1:48 a.m. a Baxter County sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle in Mountain Home because of a broken tail light.
Inside the car were two people, including 38-year-old Dennis Tyrell Miller.
According to a news release from the sheriff's office, a search of the National Crime Information Center's database revealed Miller was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear on a first degree murder charge in Neshoba County, MS.
Miller was arrested and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center where he was held without bond awaiting extradition back to Mississippi.
Mountain Home police assisted with the stop and arrest.
