KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - A Campbell man died after being flown to a Memphis hospital Tuesday afternoon following a single-car crash.
The crash happened on U.S. Highway 412 just east of Kennett, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Joseph R. Baker, 79, was westbound when his 2001 Cadillac Deville traveled off the road and struck a large highway sign.
Baker was flown to the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis where he was pronounced dead Wednesday evening.
His passenger, 74-year-old Sharon Baker, was taken by ambulance to Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett with moderate injuries.
Both were wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.
